Please remember caution when driving around our volunteers. Expect some delays. We continue to make adjustments to make things run as smoothly as we can while our staff is outside in the elements.

The R.E.A.P.I.N.G. Food Ministry encourages anyone who attends our food bank to take the utmost care of themselves and those around you.

Please read the article below on what you will need to do to prepare for our next give out.

FBC Reapers Grocery Pickup Procedures

Do's and Don'ts of the R.E.A.P.I.N.G. Food Ministry

DO:

1. Come every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 9AM - 12AM or while supplies last.

2. Check one of the following each Wednesday prior to handout to confirm we are still giving out the following day.

          A. Here on the website

          B. On our Facebook page: R.E.A.P.I.N.G Food Ministry

DON'TS:

1. Arrive before 8:30AM. We use this time to prepare for the handout and traffic interrupt that.

2. Block or back up traffic on 12th and 13th Avenues. Or anywhere for that matter. It is important for us to keep the roads open for emergency vehicles and others or risk the chance of being shut down.

3. No more than three household will be served per car and those households must be present to receive said food.

The R.E.A.P.I.N.G. Food Ministry workers do their best each week to provide you with the best/fastest service we can. Our team works many hours preparing for these handouts and appreciate your patience and understanding. We Serve what we have when we have it so some weeks, we may have plenty and others only a few items. We will never hand out anything that we ourselves would not give to our own families. If the items are outdated, they are within safety guidelines to still be used.

Remember to be kind! Kind to our workers and kind to the people around you. We are all doing our best in difficult times.

God Bless you all!

REAPING FOOD MINISTRY

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING THE FORM!

Our vision is to Reach Every Altoona Person In Need Gladly. We do this by purchasing food to give to those in need that live in Altoona and the surrounding area. Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, we give groceries to families in need. To date we give food to 300-400 families twice a month. As we give out this food we seek to share the Love of Christ verbally.

"I thought Reapers was just a food bank. I was wrong. It is believers sharing Christ and feeding our community with food and God's goodness." - Molly

"Reapers is a wonderful ministry. It has helped my daughter and I with much needed food. I like to hear the sharing of scripture and prayer requests." - Sue
