OUR MISSION

To Glorify God with all that we are and have.

Matthew 5:16 - "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

1 Corinthians 6:20 - "For you have been bought with a price: Therefore glorify God in your body."

OUR VALUES

John 6:48 - "I am the BREAD of Life."

Our chief aim is to be:

Biblically - all that we do is to be founded on the Word of God.

Reaching - purposefully and intentionally seeking to reach those around us with the Gospel.

Edifying - building up fellow believers in Christ.

Adoring - worshipping and praising God for who He is and what He has done.

Disciple Making - effectively seeking to foster genuine care for the growth of the believer.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that it was written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit to write what He wanted written and in the manner in which He wanted it recorded, and that it is therefore of supreme authority in faith and life. (I Peter 1:21; II Timothy 3:16-17)

2. We believe in one God, Creator of heaven and earth, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19-20)

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, and therefore true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. (John 3:16; Luke 1:34-35)

4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, whose ministry is to convict the world of sin, or righteousness, and of judgment, and to regenerate the unbelieving and to sanctify and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. (John 16:7-11)

5. We believe that man was created, he fell from his high and holy state; that all in the image of God, and that by reason of his sin human beings now are born with a sinful nature. When an individual reaches an age of accountability before God, he then becomes a sinner in thought, word and deed. (Genesis 1:26; 3:1-7)

6. We believe that Christ died for our sins, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood and are born again by His Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God; that salvation is by grace through faith, and not of works lest any man should boast. (I John 2:2; Ephesians 2:8-9)

7. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of Our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present ministry there for us as High Priest and Advocate; we believe in “that blessed hope”, the personal, bodily, premillennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 4:13-15; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)

8. We believe in the observance of the ordinances of Baptism and Lord’s Supper: that Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as the outward expression of an inward experience of salvation and union with Christ, setting forth in symbol the essential facts of redemption; and that the Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of the Lord’s death until He comes, wherein the elements are the bread and the cup. (Matthew 28:16-20; I Corinthians 11:23-34)

9. We believe that the New Testament Church is a body of believers associated together for worship and service in the spread of the Gospel throughout the world; and that every person is directly responsible to God alone in all matter of faith; and that each church is independent and autonomous and therefore must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority.

10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (Revelation 20:11-15, II Thessalonians 4:16)

11. We believe that the grand and glorious mission of the Church is the evangelization of the world, beginning at home; and that this mission merits the completed consecration of the time and treasure of every Christian. (Matthew 22:37-39)
